New Products from Designs...Buy...

The caption reads: "today is not a good day to mess with me
I'm feeling like a female puppy dog...IN HEAT!

In a blog, how to create a website for the computer illiterate, I explained how to get your first website started. As a follow-up, I thought it might be a good idea to let you see my progress as I embrace this still new idea.

For a recap: Do a search for a site that offers to allow you to create a website for on a trial basis. Most of these trials are going to be for 1-3 months. Follow the instructions.
  • The Site I chose is: Vistaprint.com. The trial period is for 30 days.
Thirty days should give you enough time to figure out if what you want to do on the internet is going to be a good investment of your time, or if you might want to pick another subject to promote. Me, I wanted a business I could work on form home. I haven't made any money yet, but you've got to start somewhere. I also have 3 websites set up at vista print now. I'm testing out a new idea. (I'll let you know how that's going)In the last 3 months, I've learned a lot, since I started my website at vista print. Now, I can really put to work the information I've learned about creating a successful web presence.

I found the perfect site for my new business. Using the knowledge I gained when I opened my first website I started a online store at Zazzle.com. If you have any artistic skill at all this site could work for you. Or if you are just more versed at using your computer programs than I am, it could be good. If you can take a photo and upload it, you are in business at Zazzle. The best part. Not only is the website set up free, there is no trial period. You can stay in business there as long as you like, or you can just stop using the site. The designs that you create can be open for (literally) the world to see. Take some time a go there to read about creating your own site. You will be amazed at the prospects.

Some Key points:
  • The website they create for you is FREE. No, REALLY! It's free.
  • Create your own product line. Example: see in the flash panel of my designs.
  • You can publish your designs on the Zazzle marketplace. There are a lot of people that will see your design. Just make sure you open your store (don't do what I did for a month and a half. I left my store closed from public view, because I was tired and didn't uncheck the box labeled private view only. There is no telling how many sales I didn't get).
The cup displayed at the top of this page is our newest design. You can view all of our designs at www.zazzle.com/hope_n_faith. If you want just a quick view, check out the flash panel.

As this is a new endeavor, we would appreciate any comments that you might have that could help us serve you better in our design business.

If you don't see a product that you like, but you would still like to help us with a hand up, donations are appreciated. In thanks for your donation we will send you a hand crafted microwavable heating pillow, that works great for the small of your back, across your shoulders, or on your feet. It's a handy gift, that most people can use.
Thanks.

About Me

My photo
I enjoy being happy. I endeavor to take life on the light foot, though I am fairly focused when I'm involved in a project. I enjoy my family, though I also enjoy getting away for walks, or puttering in the garden to allow my mind to just flow.
